Puzzle Solutions ...

4. Rc7 ... This move virtually wins the game. Black must basically choose to lose their queen. If the black queen takes the rook, white should play f7+ to force Kh7. Now, it sure seems like fxe8 is a very nice move. In reality, no matter where the queen goes, white's next move f7+ is brutal!

5. Qxc5+ ... Some would say that Nxe6+ would be best. While this does immediately fork the king and queen, it technically allows black to keep a rook on the board. The move Qxc5+ forces black to lose the rook too (or simply give white a free queen. After Qxc5+ the game would most likely be played out as Rxc5, Nxe6+, king moves, Nxc5 ... winning both the black queen and black rook.

6. Bxg6 ... This is a killer move as black will get checkmated if they take the bishop with their pawn. Black also has to worry about the fact that they are about to lose their rook AND white also has a discovered check with the queen when the bishop moves. Can you see all of these threats?
