Setup & Preparation

The goal of this lesson is to get you ready to program, making sure you have the tools needed to continue.

• Download & Install Netbeans
• Create a New Project
  • Choose: File - New Project
  • Categories: Choose Java
  • Projects: Choose Java Application
  • Click Next
  • Project Name - name your project
  • Location - where you want to save
  • Uncheck Create Main Class
  • Click Next
• Create a New Package
• Create a New Class
