The discovered attack and discovered check occured when moving a piece reveals an attack by a different piece. Discovery is yet another very powerful move that can create painful results for your opponent. Study, mastery, and know what discovery is and continually look for it when playing your chess matches. Be sure to know that not every discovery is the best move. Also before you play any move in chess, be sure to look carefully to see if you have a better move that can be made.
